Week # 11, Duluth East Invite, Practice & more
Jan 21, 2020, 9:49 am

There are only 3 rules on this team.

                          1. BE A GOOD PERSON 2. BE A GOOD STUDENT. 3. BE A GOOD ATHLETE.

In that order.

Week # 11

We made the most of Mother Nature’s snowball last week with good practices on Friday and MLK day. THANKS to all who roll with our schedule changes, while staying flexible and adaptable - on what us coaches need to accomplish - when the cold temps and snowstorms mess up our racing calendar.

The countdown at practice has begun: 16 days till the Section race and 18 days left until the JV / JH Championships. Our teams are physically dialing things up to be race ready on the course, and the daily sermon is all about staying mentally sharp and top of the line healthy. Recovery, Rest, Reset. The skiers know the routine!

This week of practice & racing:

Tuesday, Jan 21st – practice

Wednesday, Jan 22nd – practice

Thursday, Jan 23rd - practice: wax & ski

Friday, Jan 24th – Duluth East Invite @ Snowflake Nordic Center. Pursuit Races for V / JV & Skate races for JV2 & JH groups. See info on Race list page.

Sunday, Jan 26th – MYSL @ GR, 2-3 pm. Skier volunteers needed to help out. Thank you to those who are a regular volunteer to these young kids!
